Acne vulgaris je dlouhodobé kožní onemocnění způsobující různé typy pupínků, jako jsou černé tečky a cysty. Pokud není správně léčena, může způsobit jizvy. Tato recenze zkoumá různé typy jizev po akné a způsoby, jak je zlepšit. Existují tři hlavní typy: icepick, rolling, and boxcar scars , které se liší hloubkou a vzhledem. If acne scars are located on the face, they can reduce the patient's quality of life, leading to isolation and depression. There are multiple effective modalities to treat acne scars. Ablative lasers, radiofrequency, micro-needling, and pilings with trichloroacetic acid have very good treatment results.
